COMMUNITY BUILDING
We are both the gathered and the scattered church.
When we gather—for worship, learning, and connection—we find the strength and encouragement needed to live as disciples when we are scattered in the world.
The Welcome Table is committed to nurturing deep relationships within our community and with our neighbors in Rock Hill and beyond. Our gatherings are an opportunity to strengthen connections with one another and build bridges across differences, creating a sense of belonging for all.

What We Do
The Community Building Team focuses on fostering connection and ensuring that everyone feels seen, supported, and valued. This work encompasses:
-
Disciple Care: Caring for those in our community by praying for individuals, reaching out to those on our prayer list, and sending thoughtful cards for birthdays, holidays, and other occasions.
-
Fellowship and Events: Organizing gatherings that bring people together, from casual get-togethers and milestone celebrations to special events outside regular worship gatherings.
-
Communication and Connection: Managing our community database to ensure everyone stays connected and informed.
Why It Matters
This team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where relationships can deepen and love can thrive. Whether through small gestures of care or large-scale events, their work reminds everyone in our community that they belong and are never forgotten.

If you’re passionate about hospitality, building relationships, or making others feel loved and included, the Community Building Team offers a meaningful way to share your gifts.
Together, we can continue to nurture the kind of community where everyone feels at home.
