ABOUT
The Welcome Table is an inclusive, community-focused church located in Rock Hill, SC, right on the edge of Winthrop University’s campus and just a short drive from Charlotte, NC.
Our church was founded in May 2018 with a commitment to shared ministry, radical acceptance, and meaningful social engagement, creating a space where everyone is welcomed and valued.
We’re not a traditional church—The Welcome Table is a community of people who believe that authentic connection and active love are at the heart of faith.
We gather not just to worship, but to grow together, serve our neighbors, and support one another. Embracing diversity and fostering relationships, we are dedicated to being a safe, supportive, and open-minded home for those searching for genuine community and spiritual growth.
Our Location
We meet at the Winthrop Wesley Foundation (406 Stewart Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730), which is primarily a student center for Winthrop students. While the space is primarily used by students, it is also rented out for events and gatherings, and we have a weekly agreement with Wesley to use it for worship. Wesley was the first place we gathered for worship, and after a season of being nomadic, we returned to Wesley to establish consistency and have developed a strong partnership with them over the years.
